Cast in Aluminum, this Series 5 16-3/4″ Armature/Rotor Fan can fit in under the rotor end turns or end ring without interfering with the bearing housings. It can be machined to your exact specifications by Jenkins or be provided as-is for in-house machining. Series 5 fans are suitable for internal cooling of an AC motor. They have a hub, which protrudes from the back plate on the opposite side of the blades. This protruding hub can fit in under the rotor end turns or end ring without interfering with the bearing housings. This fan has a solid back plate and air cannot be moved along the shaft through this type of fan.
